Tap-To-Contact lets shoppers instantly save your brand’s contact card directly from your popup — in just two clicks. By making it easy for customers to store your phone number, website, and brand details, this feature helps strengthen your SMS marketing performance, especially with the new iOS 26 update.

What is Tap-To-Contact?

When a shopper signs up through your popup, they’ll see a button that opens your brand’s contact card. With one tap, they can auto-save your number and details into their phone contacts.

This ensures your messages are more likely to show up in the Known Sender inbox (instead of the new Unknown Senders tab), and it builds long-term trust between your brand and your customers.

How to set it up in Alia

Follow these quick steps to enable Tap-To-Contact on your popup:

1. Add a button to your popup

On the step where you want shoppers to see the option — we recommend placing it on the confirmation screen — add a button to your popup.

2. Change the button’s action

Select the button and set its action to “Show contact card.”

This will link the button to your brand’s saved contact details.

3. Edit your brand’s contact info

Fill out the details that will appear on your brand’s contact card:

  • Brand Name (as you want it saved in shoppers’ contacts)

  • Phone Number (your sending number)

  • Website Homepage URL

  • Logo (this will display as the contact’s image)

4. Save & publish

That’s it! Once your popup is published, shoppers will be able to click the Tap-To-Contact button and save your contact card instantly.

Best practices

  • Place Tap-To-Contact on your thank-you/confirmation step, right after signup.

  • Use your SMS sending number so messages match the contact they save.

  • Keep your brand name short and recognizable (e.g., “Alia” instead of “Alia Software Inc.”).

  • Upload a clear logo so the contact looks professional in customer phones.

Why use Tap-To-Contact?

  • Improves deliverability: Messages are more likely to appear in the Known Sender inbox with iOS 26.

  • Builds trust: Shoppers recognize your number as saved in their phone.

  • Simple UX: Two taps for customers, big impact for your brand.
