The Task types you can setup in Alldevice:-
β
1. Planned - A one time entry
2. Regular - A task for periodic maintenance, which can be triggered by time /calendar or counter based values. Adding regular maintenance reduces the likelihood of Extraordinary failures.
3. Extraordinary - A failure event
Creating the Tasks types -
For a single planned task or extraordinary task you can :-
Select a Device and using right click on a device select add task, or add a completed task.
You can also use the Mobile application and from the main menu the "Add task" to create or add and complete these tasks types.
For Regular (Reoccurring) :-
You need to create from the device card ie double click on the device or right click and select device data. These should be setup on the Web application, and then can be completed on Mobile.
Select Task Interval - Here you initially see the Task sheet templates, if you have added, or you can use the +Add to create.
β
The templates allow you to build from the +Add action a series of task & measures or from the preset to add a preset series you have built. You can also add reminders for example maybe you need to check availability of a tool 3 days before or a calibration certificate 14 days before this task.
Once completed select the Schedule task tab and add the type and the frequency of this reoccurring tasks for a device.
A schedule can also be counter based ie Hours, pieces produced etc, a more detailed overview can be found here
Extraordinary (Failure) Tasks :-
These can be manually created in the app as seen above, another option is on the mobile app click Add Tasks and select add extrodinary task. It is also common to use use a fault reporting link that can be converted into a QR code or added to a NFC tag, this allow a operator / user to scan or read the link and report the issue without the need to have a user account or login to Alldevice.
