Devices

  • Categories

    • Categories can be used to filter devices, and also to define custom fields, by setting these up you can minimise the fields on a device card to only show important additional data. You can also define the fault types for that category which ensures better fault reporting and analysis.

      • For example we add a new category, select a category and then add fault types for that category

      • Similarly if I selected the Custom fields used for that category

      • Note the custom fields need to be added before you can select them see adding custom device fields

  • Manufacturers

    • You can add manufacturers - This allows sorting and filtering of devices by manufacturers

Spares

  • Categories & Manufacturers - List for filtering and sorting of spares

  • Stocks

    • Allow you to setup differing stocks, these could be locations in a company, personal stocks held by a maintenance engineer etc

    • It also allows you to assign a user to a stock, this means that this stock will be used as the default for that user.

    • You can also choose which is the main stock, which is the stock that will be used unless another is specified when using a spare part.

Tasks

  • Task Groups - Define groups for filtering of tasks

    • Examples:-

      • Shutdown

      • Calibration

      • Category 1

  • Action Pre-sets

    • These allow you to define a name, and a set of actions and measures, these can then are used as templates when adding Task intervals to a device read more here. If you need to update the maintenance procedure then you can do this in one location.

  • Task stages

    • Use to filter by the stage

  • Completed tasks report statuses

    • For filtering - For example 'Warranty' so you can see all repairs needed that are covered under the warranty periods

Measurements

  • Measurements

    • Defining the measurements used on Action Pre-sets, Tasks etc

    • For example we maybe have to measure 2 points on a heat exchanger when a machine is running, with set high and low limits

    • Use the green + to add more measurements if needed and add upper and lower limits as you need.

  • Categories - For filtering of the measurements

Downtimes

  • Categories - Define the downtimes categories which can be used to evaluate the causes of downtime for example - Self inflicted, Mechanical failure, Electronics failure, Parts Availability etc

Executors

  • Executors are external performers ie 3rd parties that will perform tasks for you. It could be the HVAC systems in the factory or any device that cannot be maintained by internal resources.

  • You can setup the Name, Company and details for example:-

Companies

  • You can set the company name, or change the company name, address, phone etc. Define your logo, and add additional information for documents
