Can I translate content into another language?

Yes. All Gravy translates feed posts, comments, chat, quizzes, courses, modules, articles and collections, on mobile and in the admin console. Translation is user-initiated, so the original is never changed.

Yes. All Gravy can translate content for you, in most places you read something. 🌍

What can be translated

  • Feed posts and comments

  • Chat messages

  • Courses and modules

  • Quizzes

  • Articles and collections

You choose when, and only for you

Translation is user-initiated. Nothing is translated automatically, and asking for a translation does not change what anybody else sees. The original stays exactly as it was written.

Two people can therefore read the same post in two different languages, at the same time, without either of them editing it.

Where it works

Both the mobile app and the admin console.

What it does not do

Translating a course does not create a second copy of it, and there is no permanent translated version stored against the content. If you need a separate language version that people can be assigned to and reported on, build it as its own course or collection.

💬 Writing for a mixed-language team? Write in one language and let people translate as they read, rather than posting the same thing twice. 🙏
