Overview

When you set a space to “Anyone with the link” can access the space, you effectively make the space accessible for anyone on the internet who has the link.

Restriction level

Anyone with the link

Restriction level is LOW

Anyone submitting an email

Restriction level is MEDIUM

Restricted access

Restriction level is HIGH

Anyone with the link - This access type is the least restrictive option out of all three space access options in Along. It enables you to basically create no barrier of entry for your buyers. Anyone who clicks on the link can view all the information added in the Alongpsace.

Tracking

In a space with access type “Anyone with the link”, you can have the following buyer visitors or members in your space

  • Invited member → identified via email

  • Authenticated member → visitor that entered their email

  • Anonymous member → visitor that has not been authenticated

Anonymous visitors

However, you will track buyers as “Anyonmous member”, if they are not logged in. In this case, you will not always know exactly who the person is that visited the space.

Access rights: Your buyer members that access the space as “anyonmous” visitors have the following access rights

  • Can not edit any content from the first “overview” tab

  • Can edit (create, complete, assign, set due dates, upload resources) actions

  • Cannot comment (unless they enter an email for authentication)

→ In order to comment, the anonymous visitor needs to “enter an email”
