How to request a review:
Tap the Reviews tab at the bottom of your screen.
Tap Request a Review.
You’ll see three different ways of requesting a review:
Select from my leads: This will take you to your list of leads. Tap on a specific lead, and their contact information will automatically populate with the information provided in the lead itself. Note: You can also start this review request option from within individual leads in the Leads tab.
I’ll enter contact details myself: Even if a homeowner didn’t submit a lead through Angi, you can still send them a review request. Fill out all of the information about your customer and the job you completed for them.
Select from my phone contacts: Send a request to a homeowner who is saved in your phone contacts.
For all three options, you will be provided with the choice of sending the request via email or text message. Select which way you would like to send the request via the toggle at the top of the page, and fill out the remaining fields. Tap the Send button at the bottom to send your request immediately.
Helpful tips:
The most impactful thing you can do to help reviews be verified and posted is to make sure the homeowner's full first and last name, phone number, and email address are included on all submissions.
Review requests sent via text are sent directly from your phone number to the homeowner. It will show as a sent text message in the messages app on your phone.
If sending review requests by text, the homeowner will receive an initial text message from you that includes a link to follow so they may leave a review. After submitting the review questions, the homeowner will receive a second confirmation text from Angi, which includes another link that the homeowner is required to click on and confirm in order for their review to be processed. Without doing this step, their review will never post.
After the homeowner submits their review and responds to the confirmation text from Angi, it will go through our verification process before posting to your profile. This process can take about 48 hours.
If the homeowner is contacted for additional verification, it is preferred that they respond back to the email or text message sent directly from the Angi Review Integrity team.
If the homeowner is having trouble finding the email from Review Integrity, encourage them to check their spam or junk folder. The email will be sent from reviewintegrity@angi.com.
