At the start of your workflow, you must define the liquids that you want to use in the workflow (e.g., the samples, standards, diluents, etc.). If you don’t, Synthace can’t instruct your robot to do anything with them!
When you define a liquid, you tell Synthace:
its name and concentration;
the sub-components that it contains (and their concentrations);
how you want your robot to handle it (e.g., how quickly the robot should aspirate it)
what tags and metadata you want to add to it (which makes groups of liquids easier to select later)
Its volume and location on a specific plate (if you have already prepared that plate).
This series of tutorials explains the different ways in which you can define the liquids that you want to use in your workflow.
