Prepare the Input Plates

Before running an execution in your lab, you need to prepare an input plate by adding the required liquids to the wells.

If you haven't prepared an input plate in advance (learn about defining pre-prepared plates here), Synthace will guide you through the process.

  1. Click Setup.

  2. Under PLATES, select the input plate you want to prepare. Synthace will provide detailed instructions.

Example: In the image above, Synthace instructs to add 114.5 µL of water to wells A1, B1, C1, and D1.

Tip: Hover over a well in the list to highlight it in the image and see its contents displayed to the right.

Prepare the Device

After preparing the input plates, use the Preview tab to see where to place them on the deck.

  1. Click Preview.

  2. Position the plates as displayed by Synthace.

Example: In the image above, Synthace instructs to place auto_input_plate_1 at the bottom-right position of the deck.

With all your resources, labware and devices prepared, you are now ready to execute!
