Create an export file
Open the Export Import tool, then add the following to the export:
some protocols and scripts (just a few examples of the processes that you might want to run);
all of the robot vectors;
all of the liquid classes; and
all of the labware.
Take some screenshots
In EvoWare, open Configure System and take some screenshots of the following tabs:
General > Device Information;
General > Instrument Options (select all of the arms on the device and take screenshots of the table that displays the tip type, dilutor capacity, etc.); and
General > Instrument Options (take screenshots of each LiHa/MCA).
Deactivate Magellan
In Tecan EvoWare Standard, go to Configure System > Communications > I/O State.
Beneath Active, uncheck Magellan.
Activate Te-Link
In Tecan EvoWare Standard, go to Configure System > Communications > I/O State.
Beneath Active, check Te-Link.
Note: If the Device list does not display Te-Link, run the
EvoWare.isoinstaller in educational mode and enable this option.
