Tell us about your Tecan Fluent

This article explains how to complete the steps in the 'Confirm your key information' section of your onboarding checklist.

Find the version of FluentControl

  1. In FluentControl, go to Help > About FluentControl.

    You will find the version of FluentControl at the top of About FluentControl.

Find the device configuration file

  1. Open the File Explorer

  2. Navigat to View

  3. Enable Hidden Items in your file explorer.

  4. Open the following directory

    C:\ProgramData\Tecan\VisionX\InstrumentConfigurations\
  5. You should see a list of files, that looks something like this:

  6. Please share the file Tecan,FLUENT,XXXXXXXXXX.config with your customer success team.

    Note: This file contains details about your hardware configuration, such as the arm order, diluter capacity volume, and deck size.

Export the FluentControl database

  1. In FluentControl, go to the Tab Database

  2. Click Full Export.

    This outputs a .zeia file.

    Note: If you would prefer not to share the full export with us, please make sure to export your worktable with dependencies, a representative script and relevant labware and liquid classes you are planning to use for this application.

    Note: If you have any robocolumns scripts and worktables which you are currently using on the Fluent please indicate this on your onboarding checklist.

  3. Please share the full export .zeia file with your Customer Success team.

    Note: This file contains information about the deck configuration of your device, including any off-deck peripheral devices.

Take some screenshots

  1. Open Settings > Configure System and take a screenshot of the Drivers tab.

  2. Open Settings > Configure System and take a screenshot of the Available Drivers tab.

  3. If you have purchased our miniaturized purification module, open Tecan Driver Framework and take some screenshots of the following tabs in the TeChromShuttle and TeChrom Pump Driver Settings:

    • General

    • Macros

    • Information

    Note: The TeChromPump driver must be contain the text Pump within the name.
