The plate-based mixtures interface allows you to define mixture preparation and mix onto actions using a simple plate-based interface. In Combinatorial Mode, Synthace will automatically generate all possible combinations of the liquids you provide, according to the concentrations and volumes you provide, and will automatically allocate well locations.
Combinatorial mode allows you to describe the combinations of liquids you would like to mix together.
For example, if you have 10 samples, 2 master mixes and 1 additive:
Select the region of the plate that mixtures can be assigned to
Create layer 1 with the samples liquid group
Create layer 2 with the master mixes liquid group
Create layer 3 with the single additive liquid
Synthace will then create all possible combinations (10 x 2 x 1 = 20) and assign them to wells in the region you have selected. If there are less wells than combinations, extra plates will be created.
You can also quickly preview the resulting mixtures in the Mixtures Preview tab to see that plate layout, or for a more comprehensive overview, check out the table preview.
