What Integration Considerations Apply When Changing or Adding Groups (Sites)?

Explains which Group (Site) changes in ANVL require review when ANVL is integrated with other Benchmark Gensuite applications.

This guidance applies only if your organization uses ANVL integrated with other Benchmark Gensuite applications. If ANVL is used standalone, these considerations do not apply.

Certain Group (Site) changes may impact how sites are mapped across systems. Unreviewed changes can result in misaligned reporting or missing data across platforms.


Answer

When ANVL is integrated with other Benchmark Gensuite applications, some Group changes require review to ensure site mappings remain aligned. Not all changes affect integrations—only structural or hierarchy-related updates require coordination.


Steps

  1. Identify whether the planned Group change affects site structure or hierarchy.

  2. Compare the change against the tables below.

  3. If the change requires review, contact your Benchmark Gensuite account representative or submit a Support/Help Me request before or immediately after making the change.

  4. Confirm mapping updates were completed and validated.


Group Changes That Require Review

The following actions may impact cross-platform site mappings and must be reviewed:

New sites must be mapped to the Benchmark Gensuite hierarchy

Archiving a Group (Site)

Both the site in ANVL and site in Benchmark Gensuite should be archived OR the site mapping between the two platforms must be updated.

Re-organizing Sites

Mapping updates may be required.

Changing Org / Sub-Org relationships

Mapping updates may be required.


Group Changes That Do Not Require Review

The following changes typically do not affect Benchmark Gensuite mappings:

Required for ANVL workflow deployment only

Adding Work Item Categories

ANVL-only configuration


Required Action (When Review Is Needed)

If you perform any change listed under “Require Review”:

  • Contact your Benchmark Gensuite account representative, or

  • Submit a Support Ticket or Help Me request

This ensures:

  • New or updated sites are properly mapped

  • Reporting and aggregation remain accurate across platforms
