Answer

Use Group Management in the ANVL Admin Portal to edit Workflow Categories for a Group. Workflow Categories control how workflows are labeled, organized, and presented to users during publishing and when users start workflows.

Changes apply immediately at the Group level and affect workflow deployment and user selection. You can edit fields such as Name, Description, Color, and Order.

Category Type cannot be changed.

Steps

  1. Open ANVL Insights.

  2. Select Welcome, [Your Name].

  3. Select Admin Portal.

  4. Open Group Management.

  5. Use search or filters to locate the Group you want to update.

  6. Scroll to the Workflow Categories column.

  7. Click into the Workflow Categories area for that Group.

  8. Update the fields you need to change:

    • Name

    • Description

    • Color

    • Order

  9. Leave Category Type unchanged.

  10. Select Save.

  11. Wait for the table to refresh.

  12. Confirm the changes were saved successfully.

Important notes

  • Category Type cannot be edited.

  • Category Type must remain unique.

  • Changes affect the live Group immediately.

  • If you need to remove a category, use the Delete Workflow Category process instead.
