Learning Focus: Apply

Why It Matters

  • Schedules control how future assignments are generated

  • Updating a Schedule helps keep recurring work aligned with current needs

  • Misunderstanding Schedule behavior can lead to duplicate or unintended assignments

When to Do This

  • Changing assignment frequency or cadence

  • Updating assignees

  • Adjusting the number of workflows assigned

  • Updating the date range or expiration behavior

Important Behavior (Read First)

  • Modifying a Schedule does not affect assignments that have already been created

  • Existing assignments remain active unless manually removed

If previously created assignments are no longer needed, they must be manually deleted from the Assignments page.

Steps: Modify a Schedule

  1. Log in to ANVL Manager (insights.anvl.com).

  2. Select Assignments.

  3. Select Manage Schedules.

  4. Locate the Schedule to update.

  5. Select the Schedule to open it.

  6. Update one or more Schedule settings:

    • Frequency

    • Assignee(s)

    • Number of workflows

    • Work Item (if applicable)

    • Date range

    • Expiration behavior

  7. Select Save.

What Changes Apply To

  • Updates apply to future assignments only

  • Assignments already created by the Schedule are not modified or removed

Watch Out For…

  • Modifying a Schedule will not clean up previously assigned work

  • Deleting assignments must be done separately from the Assignments page

  • Changes take effect immediately for future assignment generation

What You Should See

  • Updated Schedule details saved

  • Future assignments created using the new configuration

  • Previously created assignments still visible unless manually deleted
