Answer

Publish to a Demonstration / UAT site when you want to test workflow changes before releasing them to production. This lets you validate question wording, routing, logic, and usability without affecting live users.

Use Update unless you intentionally want to create a new workflow template. Publishing to UAT does not change production users.

Steps

  1. Open ANVL Insights

  2. Navigate to Mobilize → Editor

  3. Open Drafts in the left-hand menu

  4. Locate the workflow draft you want to test

  5. Click the Publish (🚀) icon next to the draft

  6. When prompted, choose:

    • Update (default) to update an existing workflow

    • (Only choose Create Template if you intentionally want a new workflow)

  7. Select the Demonstration / UAT site from the group list

  8. Click Publish

Verify the update published

  1. Refresh the browser page

  2. Open Published

  3. Select the Demonstration / UAT site in the Group Selector

  4. Open the workflow

  5. Confirm the latest changes appear

Helpful notes

  • The Demonstration / UAT site must already exist before you publish.

  • Use Create only if you intentionally want a new workflow template.

  • If you are unsure whether to Update or Create, stop and confirm before publishing.

  • Publishing to UAT is strongly recommended before any production release.
