Answer

Collaborative Workflows use email and text notifications to keep work moving between collaborators. Notifications are automatically sent when action is required or when the status of a workflow changes, so users know when it's their turn to complete a workflow or review an approval.

You may receive email and text notifications for the following Collaborative Workflow events:

  • A workflow is handed off to you so you can complete your assigned section.

  • Your approval is requested for a workflow that requires your review.

  • A workflow you participated in is Approved.

  • A workflow you participated in is Not Approved.

Steps

  1. Open the email or text notification.

  2. Select the link to open the assigned workflow in Frontline Operations.

  3. Review the workflow and complete the requested action, such as:

    • Completing your assigned section.

    • Reviewing and approving the workflow.

    • Reviewing the outcome of an approval decision.\

Note: Notification wording may still reference ANVL in some environments while Frontline Operations branding is being updated.

If a Handoff question is completed, the selected collaborator automatically receives an email and text notification to continue the workflow.

If an Approval question is assigned, the approver receives an email and text notification requesting their review.
