Answer

When you reach a Handoff question in a Collaborative Workflow, select the next collaborator responsible for completing the workflow and submit your section. The selected collaborator automatically receives an email and text notification with a link to continue the workflow from their assigned step.

Before handing off the workflow, make sure you have completed all required questions and provided enough information for the next collaborator to continue their work.

Steps

  1. Start the workflow the same way you would start any other Frontline Operations workflow.

  2. Complete all questions in your assigned section, including any required comments, photos, videos, signatures, or other supporting information.

  3. Make sure your section is complete and your responses are clear — the next person will review your section before continuing.

  4. When you reach the handoff step, select the next person who should continue the workflow.

  5. Submit the handoff. The assigned collaborator receives a text and email notification with a link to the workflow.

  6. Until the next person picks up the workflow, you may be able to reassign it if the wrong person was selected or ownership changes.
