How do I track the status of an Approval Workflow?

Approval Workflows display a status so collaborators know whether an approval is still pending or has been completed. You can check the workflow status in the Frontline Operations mobile app by opening the workflow and viewing its summary.


Steps

  1. Open the Frontline Operations mobile app.

  2. Open the Approval Workflow you want to review.

  3. View the workflow summary to see its current status.

  4. Review any approval comments if the workflow was Not Approved.

Approval Workflows can display the following statuses:

  • Pending – The workflow is waiting for an assigned approver to review and make a decision.

  • Approved – The workflow has been approved and the approval step is complete.

  • Not Approved – The approver determined the workflow does not meet requirements and additional action is needed before work can continue.

  • Lapsed – The approval was not completed within the expected timeframe. Follow your organization's process for next steps.

Managers can also monitor Approval Workflows in ANVL Insights > Live Feed, where workflows can be filtered by approval status.
