Use Create Record in a route's Event Builder in the Editor to prompt the user to log a Corrective Action in the Benchmark Gensuite Action Tracking Module when they answer a question in a particular way. A hazard, a failed check, or a missing PPE answer can then become a tracked action without the user leaving the workflow to file it separately.
Steps
Before you Begin
Your organization must have the Action Tracking Module from Benchmark Gensuite. Create Record requires it.
Confirm you have access to edit workflows in the Editor.
Decide which answer should trigger the action. Create Record is set on a route (the connector that leaves a question for a given answer), not on the question itself.
Plan to publish the updated workflow after saving.
Add a Create Record event to a route
Open the workflow in the Editor.
Click the route (the line connecting two questions) that matches the answer that should prompt an action. For example, the Default route leaving "You did not select all PPE. Please describe why certain PPE is not necessary."
In the panel on the right, select the Route tab.
Confirm the route Type is correct. In this example it is Default.
Under Event Builder, open the Create Record dropdown, below Launch New Workflow and Escalation Type.
Select Log Corrective Action. Select None if the route should not create a record.
Click Save.
A clipboard icon now appears next to the route label on the canvas, so you can see at a glance which routes create a record.
What the user sees
When a user takes that route in the mobile app, they are prompted to create a Corrective Action in the Action Tracking Module.
Once created, the action is tracked in the Action Tracking Module.
