My Application Was Rejected

Written by Ville

We're not always able to make an offer, and we're sorry if that's the case for you. You'll always receive an email from us explaining the outcome.

Why was my application rejected?

Every application goes through an individual risk assessment. We consider multiple factors, including the information you provided, your overall financial situation, and data from credit registers (Finland: Suomen Asiakastieto and the positive credit register; Sweden: UC; Germany: SCHUFA).

Common reasons for rejection include payment defaults or delays on your credit record, the size of the loan you're refinancing, or — sometimes — that you already have a better interest rate than we can offer. If that's the case, you should absolutely keep it.

What can you do?

  • Pay any overdue invoices and late fees.

  • Continue making repayments to your current lender for a few months to strengthen your credit profile.

  • If your application was rejected due to income and your employment situation changes, get in touch and we'll carry out a new assessment.

You can always reapply when your financial situation has improved.
