Check your rejection email first — it contains the specific reason your application was not approved. We're not always able to approve every application, and we're sorry if that's the case for you.
Why was my application rejected?
Every application goes through an individual risk assessment. We consider multiple factors, including the information you provided, your overall financial situation, and data from credit registers (Finland: Suomen Asiakastieto and the positive credit register; Sweden: UC; Germany: SCHUFA).
Common reasons for rejection include payment defaults or delays on your credit record, the size of the loan you're refinancing, or — sometimes — that you already have a better interest rate than we can offer. If that's the case, you should absolutely keep it.
Additional reasons include unacceptable income sources (e.g., student loans, social benefits, unemployment benefits), incomplete documentation (e.g., missing gross salary or accumulated annual income on pay slips), duplicate applications submitted in a short time, incorrect or mismatched email addresses, and exceeding the maximum loan amount of 30,000 euros.
What can you do?
Pay any overdue invoices and late fees.
Continue making repayments to your current lender for a few months to strengthen your credit profile.
If your application was rejected due to income and your employment situation changes, get in touch and we'll carry out a new assessment.
Ensure all submitted documents, such as pay slips, are complete and clear.
Wait at least three months before reapplying.
Avoid taking on new loans and reduce total debt to improve creditworthiness.
Use the correct registered email address when submitting your application.
You can reapply when your situation has improved. If your circumstances have significantly changed — for example, a new job, corrected documents, or reduced debt — get in touch with our team and we can review it sooner.
Note: Sending an explanatory email does not influence the decision, as it is based solely on credit reports and financial data.Need help? Contact Anyfin support via the link for your country above.
