There are a few ways to help your company increase the conversion of Google reviews from the rating requests sent through Applause. The utilization of the below features will provide the best opportunities for success increasing your total review number and a higher average rating with your Google reviews.
#1 Adjusting the Public review only rate
In your location settings of Applause, you can reach out to support@applausehq.com or your account manager to increase the rate or frequency in which the link in the rating request message will prompt a customer to just leave a "public review only". For example, if your "enable public review" is toggle on and the Public review only rate is set to 20%, of 100 messages that are sent out, 20 of those messages will be the public review only prompt for a customer in the landing page. This means that their only "call to action" is to leave you the public review.

This is a very imporant feature to utilize, as this mode is the best way to conver new reviews at a high level.
#2 Run a "Tip your Tech" program / Bonus incentive for any new reviews
In your location settings of Applause (at the very bottom of the page) you can adjust the text body of your public review box to show customers that the employee will receive a bonus if they leave a new Google review (see 1st image). The 2nd image then shows how that reflects in the landing page when customers receive the link.
#3 Have Automate review bonus turned "on"
In the Bonuses page and subtab settings, turn on the automate toggle for your company to bonus for Google reviews and let the Applause system do the matching and sending out of the bonus for you. When you toggle on "Automate", the Applause system will look at various data points to see if it can matching an employee to that Google review. If it reaches a certain confidence level, Applause will automatically match and send out the bonus you designate for reviews to that employee's mobile app.
#4 Prime the customer about the bonus program
Having employees give their customers a heads up regarding the bonus program if they leave a google review increases the chances of the customer leaving a Google review through the Applause text message link.
