Newly released in 2025. You can now add in your Facebook Business Page into Applause.
This article walks through the authorizing steps for your Facebook Business Page. Authorizing is step #1 to generating reviews on Facebook.
Highlights:
This doesn't mean you will replace earning reviews on Google through Applause. It is only going to enhance your online presence and help you start getting reviews on different platforms.
Adding in the request to get a "Recommends" review on your Facebook page can be set-up on a certain landing page screen for your customers, and only for those that have already left a Google review.
Even if you’re not actively driving traffic to Facebook for reviews, it’s definitely worth configuring your Facebook profile. This will allow you to manage all your reviews in one central location and take full advantage of Applause’s features for matching and bonusing.
Setting this up:
Your link to Facebook is https://www.facebook.com/[BUSINESSNAME]/reviews. We can assist with grabbing this or you can google your Facebook profile and click the reviews page to get this URL that will be set-up for your landing page that your customers will see.
This will be added to the location settings under the "Confirmation Screen" section (very last section at the bottom of the page). This is the screen for customers that have already been recognized by Applause to have left a review on Google, so we will direct those customers to leave a review on Facebook in their landing page the next time they are serviced.
Applause support would love to hear from you if we can help ensure a successful set-up of this for your account.
Bonusing/Matching Facebook reviews:
You can match & bonus technicians for earned Facebook reviews, the same way Applause does with Google reviews. To set this up, you can find this section in your Bonus > settings page and add the money amount. You can use the same bonus amount as you do Google or a custom one for Facebook reviews.
Why this matters:
Maximized Online Footprint: Customers search for businesses across various platforms. By building your reputation on multiple channels, you’re ensuring your brand reaches a wider audience.
Improved Trust and Credibility: A business with reviews across multiple platforms signals reliability and professionalism, which builds confidence with potential customers.
Enhanced Customer Engagement: Different platforms allow you to interact with customers in unique ways, helping you stay top-of-mind and connected.
