How To: Upload a profile picture to a company user in Applause

Where to find the spot to upload a technician's headshot so that it displays in the landing page for their Applause links

How to upload

Photos can easily be uploaded manually inside Applause by uploading an image in a user's profile with the camera button in the Company User's profile.

From the home page navigate to Company Users, then click into which profile you want to upload.

If they do not have a photo currently, then click the camera icon to upload a new one. If there is one in there already, you can opt to remove that one or replace it with a new upload.


Automation of headshots

Some CRM integrations with Applause bring over headshots to their Applause profile if the headshot is in the CRM at the time their Applause profile is created. The integration does not refresh to pull over headshots if added after the creation of their Applasue profile.

Importance of having a headshot uploaded

The reason having a headshot is important, is it shows up in the landing page for the customer to see and recognize the technician who completed their service.

Q: User photo in mobile app is not the photo in the landing page or their user profile in the admin portal?

A: Employees have their own photo that they use for their Applause mobile app profile. This is not the one that is customer facing in the landing page or the one in their user profile in the company users page in the admin portal.
