Roof Wizard Button - Costing Tile-Rates Tilers’ Pay Rates – Fixed

This command opens the Roof Costing-Rates dialog box, where you can view and modify all quote and job cost rates for tiling work.
Rates can be defined per square metre/foot or per unit length, depending on your costing method.

In the Fixed setup, there is one rate only — it does not vary with roof pitch or storey height.

📝 Notes on Cartage

  • The Cartage per 100 tiles variable will not appear in Supply and Install summaries if its value is set to 0.

  • If a value is entered:

    • It appears automatically, and the cost is calculated based on the total number of tiles ordered.

    • The amount is included in the material list specifically for tile cartage.

  • If you also have delivery costs configured under Set-Up > Areas, both may appear in your Supply and Install or Supply Only summaries.

    • Typically, only one delivery or cartage setting should be used to avoid duplication.

💡 Tip: Once you’ve configured your tilers’ pay rates, Roof Wizard applies these rates automatically in all relevant costing and reporting tools — ensuring consistent, accurate quoting every time.
