💾 Saving Your Changes

After updating any rate, click [OK] to save your changes.
All rates are stored in the rates.bin file, which is automatically applied to all future jobs.

📐 Pitch Allowances

Selecting the Pitch Allowance button opens the Pitch Allowances dialog box.

Here, you can:

  • Define pitch ranges.

  • Assign rate adjustments (allowances) for planes within each range.

  • Change the number of pitch ranges by selecting Set Range (up to a maximum of 10).

These pitch allowance values are used when calculating total labour charges under Reporting > Supply + Install.

Each plane in the model is assessed for its pitch and area, and a corresponding allowance is applied.
All individual allowances are then combined to determine the total labour charge adjustment.

🧾 Reporting Behaviour

The way fascia and gutter rates are displayed in the Supply & Install report depends on your Labour Quantities setting:

Labour Quantity Setting

How Values Are Displayed in Reporting

Use NETT values

Fascia and gutter labour are combined into a single line item: “Fascia and gutter (m)”.

Use GROSS values

Fascia and gutter labour are displayed separately as: “Fascia only (m)” and “Gutter only (m)”.

💡 Tip: Review your pitch allowance and labour quantity settings regularly to ensure your reporting accurately reflects current installation practices and labour conditions.
