Would you like to directly assign a shift to a worker, whether they are Full-time, Part-Time, Per-Diem or Agency?
Adding a Shift to an Employee (Full-time, Part-Time, Per-Diem)
To add a shift for an employee, go to your Open Shifts. Click on any Open Shift and click Assign. You will want to make sure you are looking at the correct ROLE of the worker. You can also use the filters or by clicking inside the SEARCH CONTACT box on the left and typing in the name of the worker you are looking for.
Once you find the worker, click in the checkbox next to their name, then click ASSIGN on the right of the screen. Once you go back to the Schedule Page you will see the shift has been assigned to the worker. You will also notice the shift no longer appears in OPEN SHIFTS
Adding a Shift to an Agency Worker (Contractor)
Whether an Agency worker has already been added or not, you can Assign a Shift to them from an Open Shift.
First you will click on any Open Shift. Then use the SEARCH CONTACT box on the left and type in the name of the Agency Worker. This is an easy way to see if they have already been added to Apploi Oncall or not.
If they are NOT there, you can use the Add Contact box on the top right of the screen to add them to Apploi Schedule.
If they ARE there, you can simply assign the shift to them like any other worker.
Once the shift has successfully been Assigned to an Agency worker it will be visible on the Schedule Page.
