Creating Blind Ads

Use confidential job postings to recruit for roles without revealing your company's information

Written by Ruthie Hanna

Users with access to edit jobs can now turn jobs into blind ads.

To enable access to this feature, please reach out to your Apploi CSM or the Apploi Support Team.

If you're looking to keep your job postings confidential, we're here to help! With Apploi, you can create blind ads that will change the way your company name appears and hide your company logo from applicants and the public view. Additionally, after creating a blind ad, you can manage it by taking it offline, archiving it for record-keeping, or permanently deleting it.

Creating a Blind Ad

Start by clicking the New Job button on the top right corner of the page. Fill in the job details requested, avoiding any direct reference to your facility. When listing an Address, it's best to include City, State and Zip Code rather than a specific street address.

Going Live with a Blind Ad

Once you create the job, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or Apploi Support. Let them know them know which job needs to be set up blind, and our team will assist.

Alternatively, your Apploi Customer Success Manager or the Apploi Support team can enable a feature that allows users to enable the blind/confidential ad when editing the job. This feature will only be accessible to users with job edit access. Please reach out if you would like this feature enabled for your account.

Once the feature has been enabled, you will be able to edit the job to be a blind ad.

Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the job editor page and click the checkbox titled "This job is confidential".

Then enter the Company Alias (this will replace your Apploi account name on the job posting).

Example:

Home HealthCare Company of "State" or "City"

Skilled Nursing of "State" or "City"

Healthcare Nursing Center of "State"
Skilled Care Community of "City"

After the job has been made blind, your team will then be responsible for publishing that position.

Managing Blind Job Postings

How to Take Blind Ads Offline

To remove a blind job ad from public view and prevent applicants from applying:

  1. Unpublish the Job: This action removes the job from all job boards and makes it inactive for applicants. It is the best way to take a blind ad offline without deleting it.

Archiving vs. Deleting Blind Job Postings

Archiving a Job

  • Purpose: Use the Archive feature to store the job and its applicants for record-keeping.

  • Visibility: Archived jobs are not visible to applicants but remain accessible to users within your organization who have access to Apploi. Deleting a Job

  • Steps to Delete:

    1. Move the job to the Archived section.

    2. Navigate to the Archived Jobs section and select the option to Permanently Remove/Delete the role.

  • Important Note: Permanently deleting a job also removes all associated candidates. Ensure this action aligns with your record-keeping policies before proceeding.

Visibility Rules for Archived Jobs

  • Archived jobs are not visible to applicants.

  • These jobs remain visible to internal users within your organization who have access to Apploi. This ensures that archived postings and their associated data can be accessed for internal purposes. To manage the job after publishing, you can unpublish it to take it offline, archive it for record-keeping, or delete it permanently. Archiving ensures the job and its applicants remain accessible internally, while deleting removes all associated data.
