The Message Inbox helps you manage all your candidate communication from one organized place. Instead of navigating individual candidate profiles or multiple tabs, you can now see every conversation in a single, easy-to-use inbox.

What Is the Message Inbox?

The Message Inbox centralizes every candidate message your team receives or sends across all jobs. It allows you to:

  • View conversations for one facility in one place

  • Respond faster without opening each candidate profile

  • Mark messages as read/unread

  • See message history and context instantly

  • Collaborate with your team more effectively

Where to Find the Message Inbox

  1. Log into your Apploi account.

  2. Navigate to the Messages tab in the left-side menu.

  3. The page automatically loads your full inbox of candidate conversations.

Inbox Layout Overview

Your message inbox is split into two main sections:

1. Conversation List (Left Panel)

This panel displays all ongoing conversations. You’ll see:

  • Candidate name

  • Job applied for

  • Job location (city and state)

  • Timestamp

  • Read/unread status

  • Unread filter

2. Message Thread (Right Panel)

When you click a conversation, the full message history appears here. You can:

  • Read past messages

  • See attachments or templates used

  • Respond directly

  • Mark unread

Frequently Asked Questions

Do messages still appear in the candidate’s profile?

Yes. The Inbox centralizes messaging, but all messages are still stored in each candidate’s profile.

Does the inbox support SMS and email?

Yes — both SMS and email messages appear in the same conversation thread.

Will this replace messages in the Application Activity Log?

No. Messaging will continue to appear in application activity logs.

Why are the counts on the Messages tab and the bell icon different?

The bell icon shows the number of unarchived candidates with unread messages.

The Messages tab shows the number of unread messages from archived and unarchived candidates.
