Do you want to make changes on a large scale all at once? Use our bulk automation feature.

This is one of the most powerful features Appstle Loyalty offers.. It lets you modify important customer information using their unique IDs. You can easily access this feature through the dedicated section in the Loyalty dashboard: More > Bulk Operations.


Below, we will further describe how to configure.

Bulk Point Adjustment

Use this automation to give or remove points for your customers.

Set Select Customer Type as either All Customers or Specific Customers, depending on your needs. If you choose Specific Customers, another field will be shown below where you will need to enter customer IDs.

You can get them from your Customers section. Here, you can Export your customers' information in the upper-right to your email as a .csv file.

When you receive it, open it in Excel, Google Sheets, etc. and you will find a tab with their customer IDs you can copy.

Going back to the fields, choose to Give or Remove points from your customers, enter the Points Value to give or remove, then select as either Fixed or Percentage%.

Then finally, you can add a Note that will display in your individual customer profiles in the Customers section, as shown below. Default content is provided, but you can adjust it if you'd like.

Hit Start to run the automation.


Bulk Sync Orders

Use this automation to synchronize all your customers' previous orders and give them the relevant points.

Choose to give points for open, closed, or all orders in the dropdown.

If you only want to sync orders from certain dates, enable the checkbox underneath, which will reveal a date picker interface.

Now choose your starting and ending dates for the automation. The example above covers the entire month of May.

Hit Sync all past orders to run the automation.


Sync Single Order

Similar to the above automation, except for syncing a single order of a customer.

It requires an Order ID, which you can obtain from the Orders section in your Shopify Admin.

Select an order number and copy the ID number in your navbar.

Then copy it into the field.

Hit Sync to run the automation.


Bulk Vip Tier Assign

Use this automation to give specific customers certain VIP tiers (requires having a VIP program configured).

Select the VIP Tier Assign Type to be Auto Renewal, Manual, or Renew on Achieving Higher Tier (reference tooltip to see what each does).

Select your VIP tier below. The dropdown will populate with all of your VIP tier names.

There are 3 ways you can select specific customers.

Use the tag field underneath if you want this to only apply to a subset of your customers. Likewise, add specific customer IDs or all of your customer IDs, depending if you want to give VIP status to some or all of your customers. And finally, you can also give VIP status to customers with specific emails.

Enable the Send Respective VIP Rewards toggle to provide all of the rewards associated with your VIP program to your customers.

Remove Customers

For removing customers from the app. Useful for inactive customers in your store.

Simply get their Customer IDs (using Export in the Customers section again), then paste the relevant ones into the field.

Hit Remove to run the automation.

Send Reward Reminder Email

Hit Send to send reward reminder emails to all of your customers.
