By default, if you update the order frequency, the next order date won't be updated
To ensure the next order date is also updated, make sure that "Immediately update Next Order Date upon changing Order Frequency" is enabled in the Order and Shipping settings. To find these options, navigate to More > Shop Settings as shown in the screenshot below.
