1. Verify the Power Source
Check the power outlet.
Plug in a different device (e.g., a phone charger, lamp) to see if the outlet is working.
If the outlet isn’t working, try a different one or reset your home’s breaker if necessary.
Inspect the power cord.
Ensure the cord is firmly connected to the Hydropixel’s power inlet.
Look for signs of damage (fraying, cuts, or loose connections). If the cord is damaged, discontinue use and contact support for a replacement.
If possible, locate a replacement cable and swap with existing power cable.
Still no beep? Move to step 2.
2. Verify screen buttons work
Press the buttons on the screen.
See if the buttons light up and flash. Does the screen not turn the machine on and off?
This indicates a touchscreen issue; please contact the Aquaria team at this point
If the buttons do not light up, move to step 3
3. Check whether or not power cord is plugged in correctly and check fuse.
See image below to locate fuse.
Unplug power cable, and use leverage with a small screwdriver to pry out the fuse.
Is the fuse burnt out?
It needs to be replaced; please contact the Aquaria team at this point
Fuse appears normal? Move to Step 4.
4. Open the side door
Check whether indicator lights on the main control panel are on (top left highlighted item in screenshot)
If the light is on, check to see if terminals on the board are loose or disconnected.
Check to see if white wires (bottom right highlighted in the image) are loose or disconnected
If light is off, check whether the light is on in Step 5.
5. Check to see if internal power switch is on.
See image below to locate.
If the light is on, proceed to Step 6.
If the light does not come on, it indicates the power supply is damaged. Please ensure you have completed Step 1.
If Step 1 does not/ did not resolve, this indicates you need to replace the fuse. Please contact the Aquaria team at this point.
6. Check the two fuses on the high voltage board.
See image below to locate.
If a fuse or the fuses appear burnt out, they need to be replaced.
If the fuses appear fine, check to see if there is any other damage to the fuse tubes.
If any damage or the fuses appear to be burnt out, please contact the Aquaria team at this point.
If there is no damage, move to Step 7.
7. Check the red, black and blue wires in the yellow box on the high-voltage board.
See image for reference.
If it is loose, pull out the plug and tighten it with pliers and then insert back into place. The plug needs to be checked and then powered on.
Use a multimeter to measure the voltage between the red and blue wires.
Voltage should read between 110VAC-120VAC
