Hydropack | How to Clean Your Internal Tank

Maintaining your Aquaria Hydropack requires careful cleaning to ensure optimal performance.

Materials Needed:

  • Hex key

  • Non-chemical cleaning agent

  • Clean sponge

  • Clean towel

  • Plumber's wrench

  • Water hose

Cleaning Steps:

  1. Remove the four screws (two in front, two in back) that secure the internal tank.

  2. Drain the tank completely to make the cleaning process easier.

  3. Remove the blue C-clamps holding the inlet and outlet pipes.

  4. Disconnect the pipings by pushing in the O-ring.

  5. Use a plumber's wrench to remove the back silver piping.

  6. Disconnect the wiring from the top of the tank.

  7. Carefully remove the tank.

  8. Clean the tank thoroughly using a non-chemical cleaning agent and a water hose, ensuring all residue is washed away.

  9. Replace the tank in its original position.

  10. Reconnect the pipings with C-clamps, giving them a gentle tug to confirm they're secure.

  11. Reconnect the previously disconnected wires.

  12. Refasten the four screws (two in front, two in back).
