How to delete your Wert account (for patrons)
All Patron account information is held and managed by Wert, our payment provider.
If you wish to delete your account and personal data, you’ll need to request account closure directly through Wert by following the steps below.
Important to know before you start
Patrons do not have an Artega account to delete.
Your account exists only with Wert.
Account deletion must be requested through the Wert checkout flow.
Wert reviews all deletion requests before confirming closure.
Step-by-step: How to request deletion of your Wert account
1. Access the Wert checkout
Begin the checkout process on Artega.
When prompted, click ‘Continue with Wert.’
2. Sign in to your Wert account
You’ll be taken to a screen titled ‘Enter your mobile number to checkout.’
Enter the phone number associated with your Wert account.
Click ‘Send Code.’
Enter the one-time password (OTP) sent to your phone.
You’ll now be taken to the Wert checkout page.
3. Open your Wert profile
On the checkout page, tap the three-line menu icon.
Select ‘Profile.’
Review your Wert profile details.
Scroll to the bottom of the page.


4. Request profile closure and data deletion
Select ‘Profile Closure and Data Deletion.’
A confirmation pop-up will appear explaining that:
Your request will be reviewed by Wert
You’ll receive a confirmation email once the review is complete
Click ‘Yes, Close My Wert Profile’ to proceed.
5. Confirmation that your request is under review
After submitting your request:
You’ll be returned to the phone number login screen.
If you try to log in again and click ‘Send Code’ you’ll see a red message stating:
‘Access to Wert has been restricted’
This means your profile closure request has been received and is currently under review by Wert.

What happens next?
Wert will review your account deletion request.
Once the review is complete, Wert will send you a confirmation email.
Until the review is finished, access to your Wert account will remain restricted.

Please note that Artega is unable to assist with Patron account deletions or access to Wert accounts, as all Patron data is managed by Wert.
