How to delete your Artega practitioner account

If you'd like to permanently delete your Artega account, you can do so directly from your Artist Dashboard by following the steps below.

Please note: Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. All of your data will be removed, and you won’t be able to log in again. Your username will also be released and may be claimed by another user in the future.

Step-by-step: Deleting your practitioner account

1. Log in to your Artega account

Log in to your Artega account here using your email address and password.

Once logged in, you’ll be taken to your Artist Dashboard.

2. Open your profile settings

  1. Click on your profile picture in the dashboard.

  2. A menu will appear.

  3. Select ‘My Profile.’

3. Go to the danger zone

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the My Profile page.

  2. Under the section titled ‘Danger zone’ you’ll see the option to delete your account.

4. Confirm account deletion

  1. Click ‘Delete account.’

  2. A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm your decision.

  3. If you’re sure you want to proceed:

    • Enter your account password

    • Click ‘Delete my account.’

Your Artega practitioner account will then be deleted.

What happens after deletion?

  • Your Artega practitioner account and associated data will be permanently removed.

  • You will no longer be able to log in or access your Artist Dashboard.

When you delete your Artega account, all personally identifiable information (PII), such as your name, email address, profile details, and any data that can be used to identify you, is permanently removed from our system.

Some non‑identifiable records may be retained for legal, security, and technical reasons. These records do not contain personal information and are used only to help us maintain platform integrity, investigate errors, and meet compliance requirements.

If you have recorded any proofs of agreement on the blockchain, please note that information recorded on the blockchain cannot be altered or removed, as blockchains are designed to be permanent. Read more: Where your NFT lives and what people can see.
