Welcome to Artega, where buying art online is private, secure and straightforward. This guide is your first step toward purchasing artwork in a privacy-friendly way.

Step 1: Get the artwork or gallery link
Before you can make a payment, you need to obtain a secure link from your practitioner. We’re not a discovery platform or a marketplace, so if the practitioners you like don’t currently offer payment through Artega, why not recommend us?
There are two different types of link your practitioner can provide:
Gallery:
Visit your practitioner’s gallery to view available artworks. Select the piece that best suits your taste.
Artwork:
The practitioner may send you a direct link to a specific artwork you’ve already discussed.

If the link you receive does not match this format, it could be an imitation. For any doubts, please contact us at support@s.arteg.a to verify the link’s authenticity.
Personal responsibility & due diligence
Using Artega is similar to using cash. While we ensure the proof of agreement is recorded and delivered to your wallet, personal responsibility is key:
Do your due diligence: Ensure you’re comfortable with the person you’re sending money to.
Review the artist’s T&Cs: If you haven’t already been presented with the practitioner’s terms & conditions, please ask for them. For more details on refunds, refer to our refunds article.

Next step: Confirm your artwork purchase
Once you’ve obtained and verified your purchase link, click Confirm to review and confirm the artwork you’re purchasing. This ensures that all details are correct before finalising your transaction.
