Now that your wallet is set up, it's time to create your username and practitioner name.
Choosing your username
Your username will become your public URL on Artega, so it’s important to pick something that’s memorable and easy to spell. We recommend choosing a short, simple username that’s easy for everyone - including those with dyslexia - to remember and type. Your username can be different from your practitioner name.
As part of our early access tester program, you’ll be able to choose a username without a number in it which will be required when we launch. This is our way of saying thank you for being an early access tester.
Choosing your practitioner name
Your practitioner name is the name that will appear on your profile on Artega. Your practitioner name can always be changed later. If you use your legal name to sign off on your work, you can use that here. Alternatively, if you prefer to keep your personal and professional lives separate, you can use the name you go by in your professional work. It’s entirely up to you. Artega doesn't ask for or store your legal name - we don't collect what we don't need.
Setting your timezone
Next, you’ll be asked to set your timezone - this can be updated at any time, including if you're travelling.. The timezone setting is for our optional Schedule Appointment feature, which allows you to offer live meetings with your clients. This feature helps to create a more personal experience and build lasting relationships with those who support your work. You can turn this feature on or off for individual offerings, and when clients book a meeting, they’ll see available timeslots in their own timezone to avoid any confusion about scheduling.
