To help build collector loyalty, we offer you the option of promotional rules.
You can either offer a % discount on the final price of selected works, or offer (partially or totally) free shipping. The terms of these discounts are determined by a minimum amount or a minimum number of artworks to be purchased.
How to define your discount rules :
The priority corresponds to the definition of an order of priority between rules, you can choose to define which rule it wishes to apply first when several criteria are present in a basket (only 1 rule can apply in a basket).
The condition: at least x works or $, €, £.
The result: the gallery offers x % or the shipping costs or a part of the cost (the less expensive ones).
When a collector meets your defined criteria, then they will see the promotion in their shopping cart as below :
When the order is complete you will find the summary in your order tab and you will know which promotion has been applied.
Please note :
A collector will not be able to "know" the promotion conditions of the rules in advance.
To change rule priorities, you must be careful to set them in ascending order.
You will still be able to create best deals (temporary discount on a work), but a work in best deal will be ignored in the calculation of promotion rule priorities.
Once the rules have been created, you can change their priorities from the rules home menu by selecting the order that suits you best.
