Surveys missing from dashboard — Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting for Shopify or Wix users whose Asklayer surveys are missing from the dashboard due to admin login.

If you are a Shopify or Wix user, the most common reason surveys don't appear on your dashboard is signing in the wrong way.

Things to check

  • Are you logging in directly to Asklayer (e.g. via app.asklayer.io) instead of through your Shopify or Wix admin dashboard?

  • Did you log out and log back in correctly after installing the app?

Step-by-step diagnosis

1. Logging in without going through Shopify or Wix

If you use Shopify or Wix, you must log in via your Shopify or Wix admin dashboard for your surveys to appear. Logging in directly to Asklayer is treated as a separate account and survey.

Fix:

  1. Click the profile menu in the top right of Asklayer and log out.

  2. Access your Shopify or Wix admin dashboard.

  3. Open the Asklayer app from the apps list in your admin dashboard.
