Single page survey not showing — Troubleshooting

Troubleshooting guide for an Asklayer survey link showing 'unavailable': malformed URLs, publishing, plan limits.

If you see the message "This survey is unavailable" and can't open your single-page survey, check the items below to identify the cause.

Check these first

- The survey link URL is correct

- The survey is published

- The Link delivery channel is enabled

- Your account hasn't exceeded its plan limits

Identify the cause

  1. When copying the survey link from the Delivery page of the survey editor, always use the Copy button. Adding any extra characters or cutting part of the link off will result in the "This survey is unavailable" error.

  2. The survey isn't published

    Open the survey in the survey editor, go to step 4, and publish it.

  3. On the Delivery page in the survey editor, confirm that the Link delivery channel is turned on.

  4. Your account has exceeded its usage limit

    Check for a red warning banner at the top of the dashboard. If it's showing, you've exceeded your plan's usage limit.
