In Asklayer actions can be performed based on specific user responses or by default when a question is answered with any answer.
To set an answer specific action, click 'Edit action' underneath the answer in the survey editor.
To set a default action, scroll to the bottom of the page settings and click the Default action.
In the case a default action and answer specific action are both set, the answer specific action takes precedence.
Note: For Multiple Choice (checkbox) and Word Cloud questions, a respondent can select several answers at once. If two or more of the selected answers each have their own "Go to page" action set to different pages, only one of those actions is actually used — the one belonging to whichever selected answer appears earliest in the answer list in the survey editor. The "Go to page" actions on the other selected answers are ignored, even though they are enabled.
Example: Answers A, B, C, D are listed in that order. A, B and C are each set to go to Page 3, and D is set to go to Page 5. If a respondent selects D together with A, B, or C, the survey will still go to Page 3 — Page 5 is ignored, because A, B and C appear earlier in the list.
To make one specific answer (for example, an "Other" option) always take priority when selected, don't set individual "Go to page" actions on the other answers. Instead, leave those answers without an action and set the page's Default action to the page they should normally lead to, and set the "Go to page" action only on the one answer that should override it.
Actions that can be performed
Go to page
Next - this is the default action.
Specific page - jump to a different page in the survey for branching logic.
End survey - when the user answers, simply end the survey.
Tag user
Any tag set will be made available in connected platforms such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo and Shopify.

Defined link will be opened in a new window.
