✏️ New feature: The copilot smart assistant

This AI-powered assistant enhances the clarity of your written content within learning units, offering suggestions for improved readability and quality.

What it means for you:

  • Streamlined revision: Automatically improves clarity and precision of your written content.

  • Optimized content: Fine-tunes text for higher editorial quality.

  • Enhanced engagement: Makes your learning units more professional and impactful.

🔎 How to use it:

Within any text content, use the blue spark icon ✨ to write or enhance your text using AI.

📊 Publication > Batch download of learner logs

🆕 Download multiple learner activity log files

You can now export several log files at once:

  • From publication statistics: A ZIP file containing one log file per learner for the selected publication.

  • From the admin report (beta feature): A ZIP with one folder per learner, each containing a log file per publication.

  • From a learner profile: A ZIP file with all activity logs across all started publications.

🔎 Administration > User Groups Search

🆕 Alphabetical sorting of user groups

When creating a user, you can assign them to roles and groups.

Previously, groups were listed randomly, making them hard to find. Now, the group list is alphabetically sorted, simplifying the process.

📂 Studio > Media Library

🆕 White and Black Pictograms Now Available

Pictograms are now accessible in both black and white, allowing easier adaptation to various design needs.

👉 Search Tips:

Use terms like “white icon” or “black icon” to filter results by color more effectively.

✅ Studio > Attendance

🆕 Track Attendance for In-Person Modules

⚠️ Not available with SCORM Connect.

You can now track learner attendance for in-person modules via publication statistics.

🤔 What this means for you:

  • Facilitators can mark learners as present

  • Learners can self-mark attendance (if the option is enabled)

⚙️ How to use it:

  1. Go to the module’s introduction page in the publication settings

  2. Open the in-person module settings from the same screen

  3. Enable or disable the “self-mark attendance” toggle:

    • If ON, learners can mark themselves present

    • If OFF, only instructors can validate attendance

  4. Facilitators can access the “Attendance” button from the publication’s statistics section

  5. Scroll down to the in-person module and click the small "Attendance" button to take action. The facilitator can then check or uncheck the attendance for each learner.

🎯 Rules & Permissions:

This feature is only for in-person modules, not e-learning modules

👉 When “Allow learners to mark themselves as present” is OFF:

  • Who can mark presence? Instructor

  • Who can unmark presence (if initially marked by instructor)? Instructor

👉 When option is ON:

  • Who can mark presence? Instructor and learner

  • Who can unmark presence (if initially marked by instructor)? Instructor and learner

  • Who can unmark presence (if marked by learner)? Instructor and learner

👉 Default setting: Enabled for existing publications, disabled for new ones

🎯 API > Public API Improvements

🆕 Enhanced links to learner publications

What’s new:

  • The dynamic link now opens directly on the module page if the learner has started the course

  • A new link now points directly to the next available module

Example: If a learner has completed modules 1–3 out of 5, the API provides a link to module 4.

🗂️ Administration > Certificates

🆕 Certificate list sorting

You can now sort certificates by date on the admin page.

🤔 What this means for you:

  • Most recent certificates appear first

  • Easier and clearer certificate management

👉 Gain clarity when searching for recent certificates.

🆕 Improved file names

Downloaded certificates now include the learner’s name in the file name.

⏱️ Studio > Set time per granule

🆕 Control the time before unlocking the “Continue” button

⚠️ This feature is not activated by default. To enable it, please contact our team at assistance@didask.com.

This feature allows you to set a minimum time to spend on each granule before continuing.

ℹ️ Also works with SCORM Connect

👉 What this changes:

  • Information granules: Minimum 3 seconds by default

  • Exercise granules: No default, but can be customized

⚙️ How it works:

The timer is available in each granule’s settings. For learners, the “Continue” button stays greyed out until the timer runs out. A tooltip shows the remaining time on hover.

🎯 Learner Experience > Final Evaluation

🆕 Management of attempts in final evaluations

When a learner starts a final assessment, one attempt is deducted from the number of allowed attempts. However, it could happen that a learner accidentally exited the assessment, which counted their (sometimes only) attempt as used. From now on, a confirmation modal will ask if they really want to exit.

👉What’s new:

  • A new confirmation window: An intermediate window is now added to confirm whether the learner truly wants to exit.

Keywords: AI, pedagogical assistant, Copilot, automatic generation, image click, message tab, granule timer, time per granule, final evaluation

Take full advantage of these improvements to enjoy a smoother course creation and learner management experience on your Didask platform! 🌟
