Set your organization's units of measurement

In Organization Settings, a global setting called Units of measurement controls the display of area and temperature units throughout Atrius. Set this field to 'Imperial' or 'Metric'.

🚧 Area always reflects the current setting

If you had previously entered "area" values for a building while Imperial had been the default setting, then these values will automatically be converted to Metric if you change the units of measurement setting, and vice versa.

Set a point's units of measurement

Every point and bill point in Atrius has a Source unit (how data readings are received from your data source) and Display unit (how data readings are displayed in Atrius). Both are independently adjustable.

To change the display unit, go to the point or bill point's Profile tab and select a new Display unit.

Above: If you have a water point that records data as "cubic meters per hour", but you wish to display these water readings as "gallons per hour" for your organization, then you may simply select an alternate display unit from the list.

📘 More opportunities to override display units

In dashboards and apps, you may still select from the available units for a given point type, regardless of the default display unit for the selected point or group of points.
