Once your results are in you are probably dying to get started and analyse your results. How you display your results can play an important part in the analysis. Weโll walk you through the different options you have to display your results, so that you can choose what works best for you!
Choosing which data to analyse
If you have send out your survey multiple times or to multiple audiences, the first thing to do is to decide which data you want to analyse. You can choose to only view the responses of one particular wave or audience, or analyse the aggregated responses. Your default on overview will be the latest wave and all audiences.
How to view your results: overview, charts or crosstabs?
You probably are already familiar with our overview. In this view you can easily see all of your answer options and the results. You can apply answer filters by clicking on an answer (e.g. Instagram) and see how your answers update. This will update your survey to only show results for people that selected that answer. In this view you can also merge answers together and analyse open text questions.
Next to default view, we also offer chart view. Here you can change your chart type to a number of options such as column charts, bar charts, pie charts and stacked charts and further customize your charts by e.g. using custom colours. Click on โEditโ next to your chart to see all options. You will also have other options to further customize your visualizations, such as choosing from various colour palettes, hiding answers or switching your axis.
If you prefer a more standard table, you can also use crosstab view. Both in charts and crosstabs, you can add splits that allows you to compare and analyse your data for various demographics, answers, or custom segments. Learn more about how to use splits here.
