How to connect to Humanitix

Steps to connecting your Humanitix account to Audience Republic

Before you get started

Make sure you have a Humanitix account and the correct access to generate a Humanitix API Key.

  • In your Humanitix account, go to Account > Advanced > Public API KEY

  • Click New Public API Key

  • Copy the API Key


How to connect to Humanitix

  • Go to the Integrations menu

  • Click Connect next to Humanitix

  • Paste your API Key (provided by Humanitix) and enter an Account Name

  • Then click on Confirm

  • Wait for the page to display 'Your Humanitix account is currently connected'

  • The ‘Connect’ button above will change to ‘Manage’ upon successful connection of an integration.

  • To do a manual sync, head over to the Humanitix integration ‘Manage’ page.

​*Please note: Your events will take 5 minutes to sync to your Audience Republic account


What data will be synced?

  • Event data: name, date, ID, time

  • Ticket/order data: price, ID, purchase time

  • Contact data: Full name, email address, mobile number

  • Auto sync frequency is daily


What data won't be synced?

  • Date of birth

  • Tags

  • Gender

  • Country

  • State

  • Postcode

  • City

  • Cannot process refund data

  • Cannot resync Full Event Data manually

  • Cannot resync events if they are deleted

  • Cannot subscribe contacts to a specific message list

  • Draft events (they will need to be published)


Data discrepancy

Please note there may be a 3-5% data discrepancy with our ticketing integrations. This is a normal occurrence, as we are a data aggregator and each ticketing platform has its own unique way of calculating and displaying ticket data. Therefore, when such data is displayed in Audience Republic, a certain percentage of difference is to be expected.
