Overview

Before you can start sending messages through Audience Republic, there are a few essential setup steps you’ll need to complete. Below is a checklist of what needs to be configured, along with helpful links to guide you through each step.


1. Domain authentication

  • Who manages your domain?

  • What sender addresses will you be using?

Authenticating your domain boosts your sender reputation and helps ensure your emails land in the inbox—not the spam folder.

2. Add and verify sender addresses

  • Have you added all your sender addresses?

  • Have you verified them within your Audience Republic account?


3. Create a list and add contacts


4. Create your email


Troubleshooting: Messaging Filters Show Wrong Results — Why?

If your messaging filters are showing incorrect or zero results, it may be because the recipients don't meet all the required conditions.

Example:

To see the correct recipient count, you need to make sure contacts are both opted in to the relevant channel (SMS or Email) and subscribed to the list you want to target. Without this, filters might exclude contacts even if they appear to match other criteria.
