Sending an email through Audience Republic
Sending an email through Audience Republic is designed to be simple and intuitive. This step-by-step guide will walk you through the entire process—from setup to send. You’ll also find helpful links throughout for deeper guidance on specific parts of the journey.

Step 1: Where to start
Navigate to Messaging and select the Messages tab.
Click Create, then select Email from the drop-down menu.
Step 2: Give your masterpiece a name
Every message in Audience Republic must have a name—this is for internal use only.
We recommend using an abbreviated date followed by a brief description. For example: 05/15/25 - Early Bird Festival Pricing
This name will appear in your message overview so you can easily find and manage it later.
Step 3: Who do you want to email
Start by selecting a list. Then, use Quick Filters or advanced Filters to narrow down your audience.
If you’ve created segments in your audience table, they’ll be available under the Segment filter.
As you apply filters, the recipient count will automatically adjust. When you're happy with the selected audience, click Save.
Step 4: Who is the email from
Choose the sender address you'd like the message to come from. Need to add or edit a sender? You can do that from this screen!
This section also lets you link the message to an event (optional) to enable conversion tracking. This link is not visible to recipients. Once you're done, click Save. Learn more about conversion tracking here.
Step 5: Message details
Enter your subject line (required) and optional preview line, which will display in the recipient’s inbox.
Step 6: Link click tracking
You can choose whether to enable link tracking (this is ON by default).
Tracking links is a great way to measure engagement, but you can toggle this OFF if preferred. Learn more about link tracking and its impact here.
Step 7: Design your email
Time to create your email (many consider this the fun part!). Click Design Email and choose how you'd like to build it:
Step 8: Enable A/B testing (optional)
A/B testing is optional but highly recommended. It lets you test different subject lines or content to see what performs best. Learn more about A/B testing here.
Step 9: Test your email
You're almost there! Before sending your message, we recommend sending yourself a test email—and having a teammate review it too. Learn how to test your email here.
Step 10: Send or schedule your message
You’ve made it to the final step!
Choose whether to send your message immediately or schedule it for later. Learn how to send or schedule your message here.
Message insights
Once your email has been sent (yay you! 🎉), you can view insights including opens, clicks, unsubscribes, bounces, and even ticket sales conversions.
To access insights, click the title of your email in the Sent Messages section.
