Overview
A ticket sale conversion is tracked when you link your messages to events within your Audience Republic account. When you send a message, recipients who open it, click a link, and then purchase tickets contribute to the conversion. You can view this conversion data at the message level, event level, or export all conversion data from your messaging reports.
Note: A conversion is only recorded if the recipient opens the email, clicks a link, and completes a ticket purchase. For example, if someone opens the email but doesn't click the link, and later buys a ticket directly from your website, that purchase will not be counted as a conversion.

How to link your messages to events
To calculate ticket sale conversions, you need to link an event in your Audience Republic account to the message. This can be done while building your message, before sending, or after sending from the event’s insights page.
Before sending
On the Email Messaging overview page, click the From section.
Select Link to an event.
Choose the event/s you want to link the email to. This step is essential for tracking ticket sales generated by the message.
Once your event/s are selected and your email is ready, click Send now to deliver the email.
After sending, go to the Conversions tab to view attributed sales for the linked events.
If you attempt to send your email without linking an event, you'll be reminded to do so before proceeding.
SMS/MMS
Linking an event to an SMS/MMS follows a similar process to the email steps. The only difference is that, instead of the "Link to an event" option being located in the "From" section, it’s found on the main navigation page.
How to connect your events in email conversions (after sending)
If you didn’t link events before sending the email, no problem! You can still connect them afterward:
Click on the title of a sent message.
Go to the Conversions tab.
Click Select event.
From the dropdown, choose the event/s you want to connect.
Click Apply.
Note: Conversion data is updated approximately every 30 minutes. You’ll receive a timestamp indicating when the conversion data for your event will be available.
Conversion metrics explained
Once a message is linked to an event, the conversion data will appear in several places across the platform: within the message’s insights, the event’s insights, and in your messaging data export.
Message insights
Once you've sent a message, click on the message title to view its insights. On the right-hand side of the message navigation bar, you'll find a tab called Conversions. This is where you can see the conversion data calculated for the message you sent.
Total conversion revenue: Revenue from ticket purchases attributed to this email.
Total quantity of orders: Number of orders attributed to the message.
Average tickets per recipient: Average number of tickets purchased per recipient of the message.
Setting a time constraint
The default conversion window is 14 days, but you can adjust this between 24 hours and 14 days.
For frequent emails, consider using a shorter window.
For infrequent campaigns, a longer window may be more appropriate.
Specifying links
By default, all links in your message are included in the conversion tracking calculation. If you'd like to review ticket sales generated from specific links, you can use the "Select Link" dropdown to choose which links should be included in the conversion calculation.
Understanding the conversions graph
Each connected event is displayed as a separate line on the graph.
All events are shown by default under the Cumulative dropdown.
If only one event is connected, the Cumulative dropdown will not appear.
You can toggle individual events to show/hide them on the graph.
Toggle between Sales and Quantity to change what the graph displays.
Standard graph manipulation tools are available for further analysis.
Reviewing recipients
A table at the bottom of the page lists all email recipients.
The total number of recipients is shown above the table.
Filters at the top of the page allow you to refine the data.
Event insights
Over time, you will likely send multiple messages to promote a single event. From your Events page, you can easily see how many messages have been linked to an event, when they were sent, and how much ticket sale revenue they generated through conversions.
Viewing this data is simple. Go to your Events page, find the event you want to review, click View Event, and go to the Ticket Sales tab—the first tab on the page.
Here, you’ll be able to see:
The number of email, SMS, and MMS messages sent and tracked for the event
The total ticket sale conversions generated by those messages
A graph displays daily ticket sales, with annotations showing which messages were sent each day. Clicking the View Message link will take you directly to the Messaging tab and open the specific message sent on that date.
Exporting ticket sale conversion data
From the Messages tab, you’ll find an Export button that lets you download a report of all messages sent. This export includes a Revenue column, which shows the ticket sale conversions generated by each message.
If you're looking to understand how much revenue your messages have driven over a period—like the last 6 months—this export makes it easy. It saves you time by consolidating the data, so you don’t have to manually total conversions across individual events or messages.
