How to send an Alphanumeric SMS

Sending a message from an alphanumeric sender works much the same as sending a regular SMS. The key difference is that you’ll now see a “From” field, where you can choose either a sender ID or a mobile number as the sender.

  • Once this has been processed by your Customer Success Manager, go to New Message

  • Select SMS Message

  • In the From section, insert either your Sender ID or Mobile number

  • Click Save as draft or prepare to send the SMS message

  • You will have the option to add Multiple Sender IDs (use the drop-down menu)

  • Please contact your customer success manager to add more Sender IDs; there is a monthly fee associated with this
