  • Once this has been set up, go to New Message

  • SMS Message

  • Scroll to the MMS Image section, and insert your image (it must be less than 5mb, recommended aspect 640 x 1138 px)

  • Click Save as draft

  • Or 'Agree to receive and pay', then click send the SMS message

Including TCPA language in your signup form

To get your MMS application approved, you need to include consent language in your signup form. For example: "By providing my mobile number and clicking 'subscribe', I consent to receive ongoing email and text marketing promotions from (your brand name)."

You must also provide a screenshot of this consent as part of your application for MMS SMS messaging.

How to add TCPA language in your signup form

  • Go into your signup form or create a new one

  • Go to step 2: form fields

  • Scroll down to Privacy Policy and enable the toggle to turn ON

  • Click Add custom disclaimer

  • Insert the TCPA consent disclaimer:

Commonly asked questions

I already have a Twilio short or long code under another Twilio account. Can I use this same short code to send SMS or MMS through your platform?

Answer: Clients cannot directly bring in or reuse a Twilio short code that sits under a different Twilio account if it’s not managed within our platform’s Twilio account. This is because short codes are owned and controlled at the unique Twilio account level, our platform sends MMS/SMS through our Twilio sub-account(s), and Twilio does not allow a short code to be shared across separate Twilio accounts.

Can I send MMS messages to international phone numbers?
Answer: MMS sending is generally limited by carrier and country. Most platforms, including Twilio, only allow MMS to US and Canada numbers. Sending to other countries typically fails, so you should use SMS for international audiences.

Can I use MMS if I only have a long code (10-digit number)?
Answer: It depends on the carrier. Many carriers do not support MMS on standard long codes. To reliably send MMS, a short code or MMS-enabled long code is required.

How does the platform handle opt-ins for MMS?
Answer: All recipients must be subscribed to the SMS channel in the platform. Contacts not opted in will be automatically excluded from sends. This ensures compliance with carrier and regulatory requirements.

What happens if an MMS fails to deliver?
Answer: Failed MMS messages may be due to invalid numbers, carrier restrictions, unsupported media, or opt-out status. The platform will log failures, and you can review undelivered messages in the SMS message's insights page.
