This article provides an overview of our new Data Capture tab in Audience Republic.


What is Data Capture?

Data Capture (previously called Campaigns) is a centralised tab where you can collect fan information through forms and campaigns. It supports marketing, presales and fan engagement initiatives, all in one place.


Navigating the Data Capture Tab

When you go to the Data Capture tab, you can see a full view of all the forms you have created. You can filter campaigns by:

  • Type

  • Status

  • Mode (Basic or Gamified)

  • Page views

  • Sign-ups

  • Last modified

You can also toggle between Active and Inactive campaigns to keep your workspace organised.

Click into any campaign to view the full Data Capture dashboard and insights.

Use the three-dot menu to view, edit, duplicate, or delete a Data Capture form.


Data Capture Types (When to Use Each)

  • Presale Registrations

    • High-intent forms used to build demand and capture audience data specifically for early access to event tickets.

    • Best for fans who want first access to presales.

  • Sign-Up Forms

    • Standard lead-generation forms used to capture contact information for general email or SMS marketing subscriptions.

    • Best for growing your marketing audience.

  • Waitlists

    • Specialised forms designed to manage overflow demand for sold-out events or high-priority shows.

    • Best when tickets are limited or events are in high demand.

  • Competitions

    • Interactive campaigns that incentivise fan engagement by offering rewards. Often paired with Gamification features to track and rank participation.

    • Best for driving engagement and viral growth.


Basic vs Gamified Data Capture Forms

When building your Data Capture form, you can toggle on Gamification to add an interactive, points based element to the sign up process. This is a premium feature, so check with your Customer Success Manager to see if it’s included in your subscription.

Basic

A standard form layout that allows you to capture fan data and customise a confirmation message after sign-up. Best for straightforward data collection.

Gamified

A specialised form that encourages fan engagement by allowing them to earn points and rewards through specific actions. Best for competitions, referral campaigns, or high-engagement initiatives.

Note that Gamification is only available for Presale, Waitlist, and Competition forms.


Data Capture Metrics

View the performance of your Data Capture forms.

1. Overview Dashboard

  • Page views: The total number of times the sign-up page has loaded or been viewed by unique and returning visitors

  • Signups: The total number of fans that have signed up to the Data Capture form

  • Signup Conversion Rate: The percentage of fans that viewed the Data Capture form and signed up. Only available for Gamified Data Capture forms

  • Sign up Referrals: The number of successful sign-ups generated specifically through fans sharing their unique personal referral links with others. Only available for Gamified Data Capture forms

  • Referral uplift: A percentage representing the additional growth in sign-ups gained through fan referrals relative to the original direct sign-ups. Only available for Gamified Data Capture forms

2. Signups

The full list of all fans that have signed up to the Data Capture form. In this table you can view:

  • Fan's full name

  • Global subscription status

  • Email

  • Phone Number

  • Registration time

3. Insights

Get deeper insights into your audience’s spending history, trends, demographics, and listening activity.

The Insights tab shows:

  • Top spending ticket buyers and repeat buyers

  • Location, filterable by City, State, or Country

  • Age, Gender, and Top Referrers

  • Spotify metrics: Top Artists, Top Songs, and Top Podcasts
